We Honor Sergeant First Class Paul R. Smith

Sergeant First Class Paul R. Smith is our first Medal of Honor recipient in the War on Terrorism. The White House has announced that Sgt. 1st Class Paul R. Smith will be posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor during a White House ceremony on April 4. Sgt. Smith will be the first Soldier to receive the Medal of Honor for actions during the war on terrorism. To learn about Sgt. His actions inspired his platoon, his Company, the 11th Engineer Battalion and Task Force 2-7 Infantry.
